Erin Mifflin writes inspirational romance with real historical events at the center. She’s loved history for as long as she can remember and she delights in bringing forgotten moments to life through her fictional characters.
Erin married her husband Joel in 2025. They live in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks and enjoy opening their home and spending time with family. She’s an avid reader, beloved aunt, and active member of her local American Christian Fiction Writers chapter. She also hosts The Well-Read Llama radio show, where she interviews Christian authors about their books and their faith.
Erin is a two-time winner of the ACFW Genesis contest and her debut novel will release from Ashberry Lane in 2027.
Growing up, I had a lot of siblings but not a lot of pets. “What’s your favorite animal?” is a popular childhood question, and I never quite knew how to answer. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I began claiming the fun, furry llama as my favorite.
Fortunately for me, shortly thereafter llamas began increasing in popularity, and I’ve been given lots of llama-themed gifts over the years. My sister gave me a stuffed toy for Christmas in 2017, and he has become known as The Well-Read Llama, recognizable in his many bookstagram photos.
