There are some really great books scheduled to come out in before the end of the year. Here are the eight that I am most looking forward to.
Between the Sound and Sea
“Between the Sound and Sea” by Amanda Cox
This award-winning author is bringing you another tale of family and secrets. Set in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the restoration of a historic lighthouse might be a restoration of the heart as well.

Where Trees Touch the Sky
“Where Trees Touch the Sky” by Karen Barnett
I’ve loved the National Parks series from this author. This book is split-time, which means there’s a contemporary and a historical storyline, and it’s set in Redwood National Park.
Meddling with Mistletoe
“Meddling with Mistletoe” by Liz Johnson
Every Prince Edward Island fan should be lining up to read this fun Christmas story set on Canada’s famous island province. The author’s love for the place comes through in each book she sets there.

Of Gold and Shadows

“Of Gold and Shadows” by Michelle Griep
I’m excited for the start of a new Gothic Victorian series from this author. This first book features a female Egyptologist leading a double life as an academic by day and an artifact dealer by night.

Finace Finale
“Fiance Finale” by Angela Ruth Strong
This romantic comedy features Charlie seeking a second chance to win Nicole’s heart—even though years before he broke up with her the day before their wedding. Will a collaboration on his new film bring them together once more?
An Honorable Deception
“An Honorable Deception” by Roseanna M. White
The secrets lurking beneath the surface of Edwardian England are not safe when The Imposters are around. This group of social elites mask their identity as private investigators in order to solve crime and protect the innocent.
The Seaside Homecoming
“The Seaside Homecoming” by Julie Klassen
Will the long-awaited reunion of the Summers sisters be everything they hope it will be? This Regency series has given nods to real-life events as well as honored beloved author Jane Austen.

Cloaked in Beauty
“Cloaked in Beauty” by Karen Witemeyer
If you’re fond of fairy tales told in a new setting, this book could be for you. It’s a mashup of Little Red Riding Hood and Sleeping Beauty set in 1880s Texas.
